Summer Activities

Biking:

Enjoy biking in and around Telluride, whether you are looking to mountain bike to explore the mountain on singletrack trails or taking a ride around the town.  There is a bike path trail which starts in the west end of town connecting to the Galloping Goose Trail. Riders can enjoy the free gondola ride to Sophia Station with their bikes to access trails in Telluride or the Mountain Village! Hiking:

Hiking in Telluride, is a great summertime activity and can be a fun for heading out on the trails with friends or with the whole family. There are trails that offer a more leisurely walk or the hike can be more difficult with steep hills and inclines amongst the San Juan Mountains. A fan favorite in Telluride is hiking to see breathtaking views of Bridal Veil Falls. You won’t be disappointed by the waterfall!  If you are looking for something more intense try East Fork of Wasatch or possibly even a 14er. Always remember sunscreen, a hat, water, and some extra layers for changing weather.

Fishing:

There are many fantastic fishing options close to Telluride including lakes, ponds, creeks, and rivers.
